Public Affairs

The Public Affairs Section (PAS)  is responsible for media, cultural and educational affairs.  PAS informs members of the news media and the Kyrgyz public about the United States, its society, culture and government; facilitates contacts between the U.S. and Kyrgyz citizens through various exchange programs; and supervises the Democracy Commission.

The Information Resource Center (IRC) provides information to alumni of U.S. Government exchange programs, Kyrgyz Government officials, researchers and professionals.
