Training for Kyrgyz Police and MVD at the Issyk-Kul Hotel in Bishkek

Students and Trainers
About 70 representatives of the Kyrgyz Traffic Police and MVD Investigators took part in U.S.-sponsored training “Investigation of Stolen Vehicles” and “Investigation of Traffic Accidents”.  Students were trained in both a classroom environment and outside doing practical exercises on how to investigate a vehicle accident by taking measurements, examining skid marks, and identifying vehicle damage.  In the stolen vehicle program, students were taught to locate vehicle identification numbers, identify car theft gangs, and how to make a safe traffic stop of vehicles containing suspects or other dangerous individuals.
